- The stem of the plant is short, with larger leaves arranged at the bottom and becoming progressively smaller further up the stem.
- Leaves are usually crinkled and are dark green in color.
- Nai Bai has a rich source of Vitamin A, C, K, and minerals like calcium, phosphorous, potassium, manganese, iron and magnesium.
- It is also high in antioxidants, and will help to protect against breast, colon, and prostate cancers.
- Nai Bai is most often used in stir-frys, soups, noodles, meat dishes and salads. Usually cooked with ginger, ginger, and/or oyster sauce.
